School Information
In school we aim to provide children with support to develop their speech, language and communication needs (SLCN). This can be done;
-
in class, through quality first teaching
-
through formal interventions designed to support SLCN
-
working alongside speech and language therapist to deliver care plans in school for pupils
-
through working with the complex needs team in school to support the pupil
At Boarshaw Primary school we ensure all of our staff receive support through training. We also work alongside speech and language professional, who model strategies to our staff. Below are out policies and guidance documents linked to communication.
