As part of this independent learning children are encouraged to complete challenges that consolidate the adult led learning.
We encourage children to develop their characteristics of effective learning and these are delivered through the use of Super Hero themed characters.
At Boarshaw Primary we believe that ongoing assessment is at the heart of effective practice and we observe the children as they interact in their play and everyday activities in order to identify ways to strengthen and deepen their learning and development. We record these observation using an online learning journey, Tapestry, which all parents can access from a phone, tablet or computer by clicking on this link.
