Music at Boarshaw Primary School
Music is a universal subject which can be accessed by all children. We aim to inspire children to love music and to experiment with the various sounds, textures and instruments. Here at Boarshaw Community Primary School music is taught in each class from nursery to year 6. We follow the Charanga music programme across the school, see the scheme overview here. Our subject policy outlines the way in which we choose to teach music across school. You can also view our long term plan, school development plan and vocal strategy.
